Recreational Programs
Preschool Rhythmic Program
Preschool Rhythmic program was design for 3-4 year old boys and girls. Fitness and play based class gives children the freedom and confidence to grow as they develop their social, motor and cognitive skills in a fun, creative and safe environment while playing with ropes, balls, hoops and ribbons. Please note that this is a non-parent participant class
Recreational Rhythmics Program
The main focus of this program is to introduce girls to a wonderful sport of rhythmic gymnastics. Kids learn basic techniques using ropes, hoops, balls and ribbons in harmony with music. Improve your flexibility, posture and coordination skills while doing Rhythmic Gymnastics. Girls have a chance to perform at Winter and Year End Shows as well as Planet Invitational event as a group.
Performance and AGG (Aesthetic Group Gymnastics) Programs
Performance Programs
Girls will develop rhythmic gymnastics skills using a variety of apparatus: ropes, hoops, balls, clubs and ribbons. Participants work together as a unified team performing a group routine (AGG) choreographed to music. Gymnasts have the opportunity to Perform at the Shows, Festivals and Provincial competitions as a group. They will also have a chance to compete among other groups at the Planet Rhythmics Invitational competition in March and individually at Blossom City Cup Competition in April
AGG (Aesthetic Group Gymnastics) Program
This is the first step into competitive world. Girls learn basic technique of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics. Gymnasts perform at the Winter Show and Year End Show and have the opportunity to compete among other AGG groups at the Planet Invitational in March and other invitational competitions during the year. Possible participation at BC AGG Championships and Canadian National AGG Championships. Lots of stretching, acrobatic, coordination and conditioning included in this program.
Stretching Class for Aspiring Young Athletes
This class will help to find a maximum potential in flexibility for serious athletes. This is the only stretching class available in BC today. Perfect addition for dancers, figure skaters, artistic gymnasts, synchronised swimmers and more.
Competitive Programs
Competitive Provincial Stream Program, BC Levels: InterClub-1-2-3
Assessment required. Training is minimum 4 hr (for InterClub) and 6 hr for BC Level 1-3 weekly, including intro ballet training during the week. Compete with group/individual routines at BC Provincial Championships and Invitational competitions across BC
Competitive Western Stream Program, Levels 3B/3C, 4-5-6
Audition required. Training 9-12 hours/week, including ballet training during the week. Required experience in provincial stream program. Compete with individual routines at Westerns Regional Championships, BC Provincial Championships, and invitational competitions across BC, Canada, international invitational events.
Competitive National Stream Program (Novice-Junior-Senior)
Audition required. Training is 12-24 hours weekly. Ballet practice 1-2 times a week. Compete with individual routines at all BC and high-level Canadian events: Western Regional Championships, Canadian Nationals and international invitational competitions. Travel across Canada, North America and around the World.
